Tags help you organize, categorize, and quickly locate assets. Like in other systems, they act as keywords or labels that provide additional context and make searching effortless. Unlike folders, an asset can have multiple tags, offering greater flexibility across different modules. Using tags is optional but highly recommended for effective asset management.
Tag Manager
The Tag Manager allows you to create, edit, and organize your tags in one place. You can open the Tag Manager as follows:
The tag manager looks like this:
- Use the Search Bar to find an existing tag by typing part or all of its name.
- Select "Show active tags only" if you want to ignore the inactive tags.
- If "Show active tags only" is not selected, disabled tags are shown in grayed text.
