Home View

Home gives you a scrollable feed of all your assets. It combines content from every module into one continuous stream. The layout feels like a social media feed—so you already know how to use it.

Create new asset

Follow these steps to create a new asset:

Tapping the new button will open the asset type selection form. Since Home view shows assets from all modules, Oddapy will ask you to select a type of asset.

Select a type

Select the type of asset you want to create. For example, select Document to create an asset under Documents module.
New Document

Enter asset name

Enter document name and tap [uiicon_check]

Using the filters

Use the Filter Bar to narrow down your feed. You can filter by:

Attributes like Favorite, Locked, Archived etc.

Available Attributes are Favorite, "Shared with me", "Shared with others", Locked, Archived and Untagged.

Filter by module see assets of a particular module.

Searching Assets

To search for one or more assets, simply enter one or more words in the search box and hit the Enter. To cancel the search, Empty the search field and hit Enter (on a mobile device, tap [uiicon_close]). Note that, when searching, the assets are sorted by relevance. This ignores the selected sorting option from the content menu.

Managing Assets

With each asset card, you can see a few command buttons. Those are for managing your assets. Here are the summary of what each button does:

[uiicon_favorite] Mark/unmark as a favorite.
[uiicon_tag] Add/update tags for categorization.
[uiicon_calendar_plus] Schedule assets in the Calendar (e.g., reading time for bookmarks, planning tasks).
[uiicon_open_external] Opens the asset in a new browser window if it contains URL.
[uiicon_share] Share with Contacts or Groups.
[uiicon_lock] Prevent further edits (toggling command).
[uiicon_archive] Move to the archive for a clutter-free workspace (toggling command).
[uiicon_delete] Permanently remove the asset.
