Notes lets you jot down thoughts, ideas, or anything important—anytime, anywhere. With its built-in rich text editor, you can format your notes just the way you like. Each note is saved as a secure document in Oddapy’s private storage, so it stays safe and easy to find. And since it works across all platforms, your notes are always just a tap or click away.
A few use cases of Notes
- Taking notes during office meetings
- Writing down class lectures or study summaries
- Capturing personal thoughts or ideas on the go
- Keeping a record of conversations or reminders
- Documenting references for legal or official matters
Before proceeding, make sure you have reviewed Managing Asset.
Update the Folder
You would want to save your note. For example you can have one folder for taking meeting notes, one for class notes, one for personal journal and so on. Folder are the category of notes you create in Oddapy. When you enter the name of the Notes asset, it is created under the Default folder. You can update the folder from Asset Props, see Managing Assets understand how to manage assets.
Tap … to open folder browser and select the desired folder. Follow these steps:

Select the desired folder
Select your folder. You can create a folder if it does not exists by taping + button.

You can see the updated folder in the Asset PropsUpdate the Note Date
Date is an optional field and helps in chronological organization of notes. Tap … to open the date picker and select the applicable date of your note.

The Oddapy has a simple yet powerful text editor. It supports basic formatting, lists, links, images, and other core tools needed to create and organize notes efficiently. Follows these steps to update the Note content:
