The Filter Bar is one of the most frequently used features in Oddapy. It helps you quickly locate and manage your assets within the content area by narrowing down large datasets efficiently.
The best way to master data filtering is by experimenting. The more you explore the filters, the easier it becomes to organize and retrieve your assets.
How It Works?
- Filters are context-aware, meaning they adapt to the module (or Calendar) you are viewing.
-
Some common filter options appear across all modules:
- Tags: Categorize assets for quick access.
- Attributes: Favorite, Locked, Archived, and Untagged assets.
- The Applicable attention notes below each of the following sections tells you about the applicable views / module where a specific filter appears.
Mobile View Note: The Filter Bar is hidden by default on mobile devices. Tap the Toggle Filter of content menu button in the Navigation Bar to reveal it.
Tags
Tags let you label assets for faster search and filtering. Assets can have multiple tags, unlike folders. Tagging is optional but improves organization. Follow these steps to apply filter with Tags:

Tap to open the Tags selection form.
Tap the … to open the Tags Browser.
Select the tags
Select the desired tags and then tap 🗸.
Tags filter applied
The selected tags will be populated in the tag section and the filter will be applied. You will notice this by observing the assets populated in the content area.- All modules

Folder
Folders help you classify and organize assets meaningfully. Selecting a folder in the filter bar will show the assets of the folder. Selecting a parent folder will show the assets from the folder and the child folders.
Deadline
Deadline filters the assets based on the due date. For example, a Deadline Filter of Today will show Goals containing tasks that are due to be finished Today in the Goals module.
Priority
Filters the assets or calendar slots based on the selected priority level.
Status
Filters the goals or shopping lists based on the selected status of the items in goals or shopping lists.
Repeatation
Filters the calendar slots based on Repeatation type.
Date
Displays calendar slots based on the selected date and view.
- If Day View is selected, it shows slots for the selected date.
- If Week View is selected, it shows slots for the entire week containing the selected date.
Module
Show the assets of the selected module. For example, if the Goals module is selected, assets from only Goals module are shown in the feed.
Task Types
Show the tasks of the selected types from the Goals module. For example, if you want to see only the Daily Routines, select Daily Routines from the filter bar.
