The Bookmarks module helps you save and organize your favorite web links (URLs). Whether you’re keeping track of websites, online articles, blogs, videos, or any other web content, the Bookmarks module ensures that you can quickly save, categorize, and retrieve your saved links whenever needed.
Before proceeding, make sure you have reviewed Managing Asset. While asset creation is covered there, creating a Bookmark follows a slightly different process.
Creating a Bookmark
While Bookmarks is your Working Module, tap
to open the Bookmark creation form:

URL is a required field in Bookbark. Type or paste the URL here and tap
🗸 to automatically fetch a few details of a URL.
Oddapy will attempt to extract cover photo, name and description from the URL to populate the fields.
You can also give a name of the Bookmark and add the URL later from the Asset Props.
- Once you tap 🗸, the Asset Props will open where you can give inputs in other fields.
- You can follow the input guidelines for Cover photo, Name, Cescription, Collection, and Tag.
- Please note that, some sites do not allow automatic extracttion of meta data. In such case, you'll need to populate Cover Photo, Name and Description manually.
- Bookmarks are managed in folder. When you create a Bookmark, it is initially placed in the default folder. This page discusses about changing the folder.
Editing the URL / Web Link
Bookmark has only one module specific field: URL. The URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, the web links. You can tap the to update the URL as shown in the following screenshot:
The following URL input form will open. Enter the new URL and tap 🗸 to update the URL.
Update the Folder
Bookmarks are organized in forlders. This is to let you build you personal digital library. For example, you can create bookmarks of videos on DIY Projects. You can create DIY Projects folder and store all the bookmarks. To change the folder, follow these steps:
Tap … to open folder browser and select the desired folder. Follow these steps:
Browse for folder
Tap ... to open the folder browser.
Select the desired folder
Select your folder. You can create a folder if it does not exists by taping + button.
The folder has been updated
You can see the updated folder in the Asset Props
