Your memories, organized and always findable
Taking photos is easy. Finding them months later is not. Oddapy Albums turns your scattered photos, videos, and audio into a searchable vault. Add tags, locations, and dates. Search across your entire collection. Access from any device. Share with the people who were there. Never lose a memory to an endless camera roll again.
You have thousands of photos. You can't find the one you want.
Your phone's camera roll has thousands of photos. So does last year's phone. And the one before that. Some are backed up to a cloud service. Some are on a laptop. Some exist only on a device that's already been replaced.
Capturing photos has never been easier. Finding a specific one has never been harder. You scroll endlessly through a flat timeline, trying to remember roughly when you took it. There are no tags, no descriptions, no structure — just a river of images sorted by date, with no context attached to any of them.
And the photos that matter most — family milestones, trips, celebrations — are mixed in with screenshots, duplicates, and throwaway shots. The memories are there. They're just buried.
A photo vault built for finding, not just storing
Create meaningful albums
An album in Oddapy is more than a folder of images. Each album carries a cover image, descriptive name, a detailed description, a location, and a date. This metadata is what makes your collection searchable. Name an album "Summer Trip to Barcelona 2025," add the location, tag it with "travel" and "family," and years from now a simple search will bring it back in seconds.
Oddapy can capture your current location automatically when creating an album. By design, the automatic capture returns a broad area — not your precise coordinates. This is a deliberate privacy decision. If you want more specific detail, you can enter it manually. You stay in control of how much location information is recorded.
Location is one of the strongest memory triggers. "Where was that?" is often the first question when searching for a photo. Oddapy's approach balances utility and privacy — broad automatic capture with optional manual precision.
The more context you add when creating an album, the easier it is to find later. Oddapy encourages this by design — every album has clear fields for the information that makes retrieval effortless.
Search and find any moment
Search across album names, descriptions, locations, and tags. Type "Barcelona" and every album associated with that city surfaces. Search "birthday" and find every celebration you've documented. The search works across your entire collection, instantly.
This is the core difference between Albums and a phone gallery. A gallery gives you a timeline. Albums gives you a search engine for your memories.
Organize with tags
Every album can be tagged with one or more labels. Tags are the primary organizational layer in Albums — they let you categorize and filter across your entire collection. Tag albums by event type (wedding, birthday, vacation), by people (family, friends, colleagues), by theme (food, nature, architecture), or by any system that matches how you think.
Fifty ready-made tags are available from sign-up, and custom tags can be created anytime. When your collection grows to dozens or hundreds of albums, tags are what keep it navigable.
Upload photos, videos, and audio
The file uploader accepts photos, videos, and audio files. Select multiple files at once, review the metadata (file size, type, last modified date), and confirm the upload. Files are stored securely in your private space and count toward your storage allocation.
Once uploaded, photos can be viewed in full screen with arrow navigation for browsing through the album. Videos and audio files play through the built-in media player — no external app needed.
Built-in viewer and media player
View your photos full-screen with swipe or arrow navigation. Browse an entire album as a slideshow without leaving Oddapy. Play videos and audio files directly through the built-in media player. Everything stays within the app — no pop-ups, no redirects, no third-party viewers.
Access from any device
Your albums live in Oddapy, not on a single phone or laptop. Upload from one device, view from another. Your entire photo collection is accessible from any device with a browser — phone, tablet, laptop, desktop. No manual transfers, no cloud sync confusion, no device lock-in.
Quick upload, straight from the Launch Pad
Pin up to three albums to the Launch Pad Shortcuts page. Pinned albums let you upload files directly from the Launch Pad without navigating into the module — ideal for albums you're actively building, like a trip in progress, an event you're attending, or a project you're documenting.
Calendar slots can also be attached to albums. Schedule a time to review and organize your photos, or link an album to the event it belongs to — the album surfaces in the calendar when the event arrives.
Share memories with the people who were there
Albums can be shared with any Oddapy user. If the recipient is a contact, you share directly with granular permissions — Edit, Delete, Share, and Download, each controlled independently. If the recipient is not a contact, you share via URL — always read-only.
Family vacation? Share the album with everyone who was there. Wedding photos? Share with the couple and the family group. The memories stay in your vault — sharing gives others access to view and, if you allow it, contribute.
Albums for every kind of memory
Family Milestones
First steps, birthdays, graduations, holidays. Create an album for each milestone, tag it with the year and the people involved, add the location. Years from now, search "graduation" and every milestone album surfaces instantly. Share with the family so everyone has access to the memories.
Travel
A trip generates hundreds of photos across multiple days. Create an album per trip. Add the destination as the location, tag by country or region, and describe the highlights. When you want to revisit Barcelona 2025, you don't scroll through thousands of photos — you search and find it.
Events & Gatherings
Parties, reunions, team outings, community events. Create an album, upload during or after the event, and share with attendees. The album becomes a shared memory vault for everyone who was there.
Personal & Creative
A portfolio of your photography. A collection of recipes you've cooked. Screenshots of design inspiration. Audio recordings of ideas or practice sessions. Albums handles photos, videos, and audio — so it adapts to whatever you're collecting.
Your photos are yours. No scanning, no profiling.
Your albums are stored in your private space. Files are encrypted at rest and in transit. No one sees your photos but you and the people you explicitly share with. There are no ads, Private by design — no ads, no profiling, no data selling, your data stays yours.
Unlike cloud photo services that scan your images for facial recognition, object detection, or advertising profiles, Oddapy does not analyze your media. Your photos are stored, not studied. Your memories remain private — exactly as they should be.
